AI Agent Builder
Lindy review
Describe a job, not a workflow diagram
★★★★★ 4.5/5
Pros
- Agent-first UX: describe the outcome, Lindy figures out the steps
- SOC 2 and HIPAA compliant, notable for a newer AI-native tool
- Handles ambiguous, judgment-based tasks better than rigid workflow tools
- Strong for inbox management, meeting scheduling, and research agents
Cons
- Less predictable than deterministic workflow tools for compliance-heavy processes
- Smaller integration library than Zapier or Make
- Higher price floor than pure automation tools
Our take
Lindy represents a genuinely different category from Zapier, Make, and n8n. Those three ask you to design a workflow; Lindy asks you to describe a role and lets the underlying model figure out the steps, adapting when inputs vary. That flexibility is valuable for messy, judgment-based work (triaging support tickets, researching leads) but is a worse fit for processes that need deterministic, auditable steps every time.
Best for
Non-technical teams that want autonomous AI agents, not step-by-step automations
Pricing
Free tier available; paid plans start around $49.99/month
